In the beginning:

For almost 6 years while I developed my skills I was supported by some very talented Artists.

My wife Nancy Saxon an Actress, Artist and Teacher who unleashed my work with the first sculpture. It was for her father Chuck for his birthday. Chuck mounted it at the edge of his yard overlooking Stop 28 in Long Beach, Indiana.

Who would have thought I could make it to the bigtime ?

My mentor for continuing my Art was Susan Henshaw, a very well known local Artist and Host of the Annual Art Attack in Union Pier, Michigan. Susan is a self taught Artist with multiple mediums. Many of which are hanging in my home currently. Susan’s example made me realize my potential. Watching the Art flow through Susan’s gallery inspired me to do more.

Susan convinced me to show my work at her residence during the Annual Art Attack and Auction my work in the Annual Humane Society fundraiser in Michigan City, Indiana.

The person who made it possible to move beyond just a hobby is Angela Samila. Angelia is an Artist, and entrepreneur with the sharpest of eyes for the finer things. Angela worked hard to promote my work in her new store Revive Consignment. I sold many of the pieces of art from Revive Consignment almost as fast as I could make them. Many connections were made with people looking for a one of kind piece of Art, furniture or a interior designed furnishing.

I am sure somewhere buried in the many treasures Angela has hanging at the Root Consignment Company is a piece of my Art.
